In a dog’s world, many of us will eat almost anything. Without the proper nutrition we require, we may end up having health problems and now, the rise of obesity in pets.

Why do people feed their pets hamburgers, french fries, ice cream, candy, and other fattening foods? This is NOT good for us. Please stop doing so. We don’t have pills like hydroxycut that may help you lose weight. We aren’t suppose to have this growing problem!

Next time your pet is crying at the table and wanting something that your eating (if it’s unhealthy), please don’t give in. Make a routine where you have a “special” treat of a pet snack that you rarely give us, so that you can give it when we whine for something you have.

That’s just an idea but please…NO MORE FATTY HUMAN FOOD FOR PETS!

I’ve never been a show dog nor do I want to be one. Why? I enjoy my family life and going about my day without having to make sure I look my absolute best. No offense to others who are show dogs, but I’d rather stay home then go on the road.

It would be great to win those trophies they get for being the best of the best. But, I don’t necessarily live my life to get a trophy. I like to take one day at a time and enjoy every minute of it.

Why waste your entire dog years just to get a material object when you can win the hearts of many family and friends right from your own backyard?

I am beyond disgusted right now. How can anyone hurt a pet like me? I can’t imagine being ripped away from my owner and then thrown over a bridge like the pet killings that happened in Puerto Rico.

These individuals who participated in these killings should be brought to justice. I am outraged!!! The owner of the animal control even denies that his employees did it when there were witnesses who saw it happen. Here is what he says:

“We have never thrown animals off any place. We always take them to our local shelter and euthanize them,” he said. “They can’t prove that they are the same dogs that we picked up.”

Give me a break!! People just don’t go throwing animals off a bridge for no reason. I’m sure they’ve done it before but the only difference this time is that they got caught. I’m still in shock at this point and very disgusted. I hope the owners of all those innocent pets sue the heck out of this animal control company and put them out of business for good…and don’t forget the criminal charges.

I’ve been asked many times what website can an individual go to, to search for a pet at a local adoption center near their home. My answer has always been PetFinder.com. They have so many listings that are virtually everywhere. Plus, you can adopt one of the cute cuddly cat or dog they have.

I know for a fact, if Tina didn’t live with her parents, she would definitely be fostering dogs and cats. Unfortunately, her parents are not big fans of pets and don’t want anymore besides me…which sucks since I would like to have a friend to play with and sniff bums with. woof!
